Inspection Procedures and Information for Homeowners
If you are a homeowner who would like to determine whether you can do the electrical work for your home, or if you must hire an electrical contractor, please review this document thoroughly before you apply for a homeowner permit through the Nebraska State Electrical Division. If you determine that you are able to complete the work individually, your next step would be to apply for a Homeowner Permit. That application can be found under the Permit Tab > Homeowner Permits.
