If you failed to renew your license during the last renewal period and would like to obtain a current license, please do one of the following:
Apprentice Registration
For Apprentice licensing, please complete a new Apprentice Registration Application by either returning the mail-in form and submitting the applicable fee, or by coming to our office in Lincoln to fill out the application and make your payment. You will not be able to re-register online if you have previously held an Apprentice Registration with Nebraska before, as your information is already in our system.

Journeyman, Residential Wireman, Electrical Contractors, and Special License Holders
For all other licensing, if you failed to renew your license during the renewal period, you will need to apply to retake your exam. You can either do this by completing the online Exam Application and make your payment through the online portal, or you can complete the mail-in form and send in the applicable fee with your application.
